  2. Bata,

Plse try and make shoes for tall ladies like us. I dont mean the very flat ones but shoes with atleast 1″ heal. I used to buy alot from Bata several years ago since they use to accomadate our shoe heal size but for the past 3 yrs we the tall ones seem to be forgotten.while manufacturing the 3″ – 4″ heals plse also consider the 1″ on the same designs.

  3. Thanks for your wide varieties. What is one supposed to do when you purchase a shoe and after a few days of wearing the heal starts tilting. Bought a pair from one of your stores few months ago and the heal started tilting.

  4. Please bata where can we get big sizes shoe here in Mombasa. Most of your branches here don’t have big size. We feel bad when we see good shoes laying on your shelves and we can’t get a size.

  5. thanks for the good service.am from nandi county .is it possible for me to operate a bata shop in rural areas .if yes pse advice.

  6. Hi. Your foot wear is just the best. My family wears nothing else but Bata. Guess what? I have a son who just did his KCSE this week and he is passionate about being a shoe designer. Where can he train?

    • Hi Rose,

At the moment there’s no institution in Kenya offering a course in shoe designing however, your son can consider enrolling for courses in Textile, Fashion or product design. These are offered in Moi University and Buruburu Institute of Fine Arts.

  7. Hi,thank you for making us know where we can buy the best shoes, but the problem is that you sell at high price in which our pocket cannot afford, due to rise in …thus we are forced to buy at kigomba

    • Hi Carolyne,

At the moment we are not aware of any but the closest is a course in Textile, Fashion or product design which are offered in Moi University and Buruburu Institute of Fine Arts.

  8. Bata! ps consider people with big feet. Make nice open and closed shoes for nos. 9 and 43. Most of us have a problem in getting good big shoes and we will appreciate if you could pls consider. We see nice shaped shoes in your shops but unfortunately only small sizes. If you could make big sizes, believe me you can be surprised coz it can be a hot cake.

  9. Is it true that the shoes on sale in the Bata shoe shops are manufactured from different countries, and that those manufactured in Kenya, are inferior as compared to those from say India?

    • That is not true David. Being an international, we seek to benefit from each other. Bata Kenya for example manufacture Safari boots and school shoes and some mens dress shoes which are exported to other Batas in other countries. Bata Kenya may also receive shoes from Singapore for example. As a result Bata companies benefit from each other but the bottom like is that Bata quality standards are observed and met across the board.

  10. Hi,
I wish air my concern on your current shoes, I bought a pair of comfortable shoe recently from your Hilton outlet (note consistent customer) but I am dissapointed I have hardly worn and on of the hills is off so what I do with it? I have others that have lasted years but with this particular pair Bata did not give me value for my money.
Please pay attention to quality! Waiting for your response
    Regards
    Jolly
